Its the final weekend of Annie! Last chance to see this ageless story of optimism. Last weekend we actually had to turn people away. It is first-come, first-serve, free-will donation. Come early to get a good seat!
Leapin’ lizards, folks! Since ANNIE hit Broadway in 1977 it has been one of the most often produced musicals in the world. No wonder. It’s the story of unstoppable optimism and how one orphan girl surprisingly lodges herself in the hearts of all who
meet her – all, that is, except the villains who’ll do anything to get themselves a lucky break. Set in the Great Depression of the 1930’s, the show has much to say in 2010, and this production presents the vintage story in a contemporary urban habitat.
Under the direction of Chris Kliesen Wehrman, with music direction by Kathy Webb you’ll find a show that honors your old favorite characters with the zest of a brand new twist.
